This beautiful compote is in great condition with no cracks, chips or nicks. The extremely clear crystal glass rings nicely, indicating lead content, which gave greater clarity and weight than non-lead. By the end of the 1950's fewer pressed glass items were being made with lead and this is a pressed, multi-mold piece.
