Vintage Hammered Copper Cauldron
Middle East Damascus, Syria
The large Cauldron is made of Copper, with a tinned interior. It has iron handles and side brackets. The bottom is convex (bowed outwards) and has a hand hammered look. All of the construction details suggest a hand constructed item. The Copper has a typical patina with some spots of verdigris. As a decorative piece, separations at bottom – will not hold water – rated in good condition.
