Vintage  handblown clear glass inkwell seems heavy for an ink well! These were called "Common Sense" because they were very hard to tip over and very hard to spill the ink out of. There are no breaks or chips – only a few bubbles in the glass. It is 2 1/2" tall and nearly 2 1/2" in diameter. I believe this might be one of those referred to as "self-closing." The top funnels down towards the pen hole with corked bottom.
